Registration terms and conditions
The competition is divided into three days: Friday, 2nd October 2026, Saturday, 3rd October 2026, and Sunday, 4th October 2026. Competitors can decide to participate on both days – 2 stage run or one day: Saturday or Sunday – 1 stage run.
TWO STAGE RUN – Runners can choose among three distances:
- SHORT TRAIL: Short trail is composed of two 10-km trails:
- stage 1: Dugi otok 10km
- stage 2: Pašman 10km
- MIDDLE TRAIL: Middle trail is composed of 25-km and 20-km trails:
- stage 1: Dugi otok 25km
- stage 2: Pašman 20km
- LONG TRAIL: Long trail is composed of 35-km and 35km trails:
- stage 1: Dugi otok 35km
- stage 2: Pašman 35km
ONE STAGE RUN – Runners can choose to participate in just one of the six races that will take place over the weekend. They can choose from the following competitions:
- Pašman (Friday, 2ns October 2026):
- Vertical run
- Dugi otok (Saturday, 3rd October 2026):
- Dugi otok 10km
- Dugi otok 25km
- Dugi otok 35km
- Pašman (Sunday, 4th October 2026):
- Pašman 10km
- Pašman 20km
- Pašman 35km
General terms and conditions
- Each runner competes at their own responsibility.
- By paying the registration fee and signing the registration form, the participants accept the terms and conditions and agree to take part at their own risk (parents or caregivers accept this responsibility for underage runners by signing the registration form).
- Runners must be in good physical shape.
- The race will take place in all weather conditions, unless the safety of the runners is at risk (extreme storm …). In such cases the organizing committee will decide upon a backup trail, backup parts of the trail or complete cancellation of the race.
- Due to the difficulty of the race, runners under the age of 18 cannot take part in 35 and 35 km distances.
- The trail will be well marked (strips, plates, flags …). Should the route marking be deficient or missing, runners have to report it at the nearest check point.
- A medical service and ambulances are provided for intervention on the routes.The race staff and volunteers will be present at key points in order to direct the runners.
- All runners must follow the marked path. Any use of shortcuts and running out of the marked trail will be punished with immediate disqualification. In case you don’t see any route markings for more than 200 meters, go back to the last marking and re-check the possibility of continuing.
- The organizer does not accept liability for any damage or injury made by the competitors to themselves, to other competitors or to a third person.
- The organizer does not accept liability for any damage made to running gear.
- All runners must carry the mandatory gear.
- We do not return the paid fees.
- Paid fees can not be transferred to 2027.
- Distance changes are possible only until September 24th 2026. After this date, changes will only be possible at the event with an additional fee of 20 € (if you wish to change to a longer distance, there will also be an additional payment in the difference of the registration fee). For changes of your registration you can contact us at info@archipelagotrailrun.com.
- The organizer reserves the right to change the routes. The participants will be informed about this in time.
- Parking for teams, competitors and spectators will be provided.
- Runners agree with promotional use of photo and video material taken during the match for the organizer’s promotional purposes.
- VERTIKAL RACE: All participants who start Friday’s vertical race will also receive a time bonus for the overall ranking of the 2 stages (Saturday + Sunday stage):
- 1st man and 1st woman: 5-minute bonus
- 2nd man and 2nd woman: 4-minute bonus
- 3rd man and 3rd woman: 3-minute bonus
- All other participants will receive a 1-minute bonus in the overall ranking of the 2-stage race.
Penalties and disqualification
- Failure to follow the marked trail and use of shortcuts (the trail has marked and hidden checkpoints). Each runner must be recorded at all checkpoints. Penalty for missing a checkpoint is 5 hours.
- Incomplete mandatory gear (organizer may at any time verify if runners have all the mandatory gear). Each runner must have and must show the mandatory equipment when asked to do so. Penalty for incomplete mandatory gear is 1 hour for every missing part. If you do not show the equipment, you are disqualified.
- Disposal of trash on the trail or next to it – disqualification. Each piece of equipment must be marked with the BIB number (including food reserve).
- Using shortcuts, not following the marked path, coming to a check point or station from the wrong direction results in at least one hour penalty for each irregularity.
- Using transport during the race – disqualification.
- Insulting the organizer or volunteers – disqualification.
- Failing to help a fellow runner in distress – disqualification.
- Proceeding after the time limit – disqualification.
- Disqualification or penalty can be immediate or upon detection of the irregularity.
Age categories
In one-stage races, prizes will be awarded only to the absolute winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place women and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place men).
On the vertical run, prizes will be awarded only to the absolute winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place women and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place men).
In two-stage race, prizes will be awarded to absolute winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd place women and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place men) and winners in age categories:

* BIB number must be placed at the front of your body, to your t-shirt or a belt.
** You need to bring your own drinking cup (15 cL minimum). There will be no plastic cups at aid stations, so each runner must provide their own.
*** Hooded jacket. The jacket must have a hood and must be waterproof.
**** Basic first aid kit, which must have at least one or two gauzes, one elastic bandage and a packet of plasters.
Cancellation of the event in case of emergency
Participants who are unable to attend the event due to health problems and have already paid the entry fee, can request a partial refund of the entry fee at info@archipelagotrailrun.com. The runner must present an official medical document (certificate, medical certificate etc.) when requesting a refund.
Note the following:
- Refund of 90% of the payment, if the request for refund is made before 1st May 2026.
- Refund of 70% of the payment, if the request for refund is made between 2nd May 2026 and 1st July 2026.
- Refund of 50% of the payment, if the request for refund is made before between 2nd July and 1st September 2026.
Refund after September 1st 2026 is not possible, regardless of the reason why the runner does not participate in the competition.
In the event that a runner does not participate in the competition regardless of the reason, he / she will also waive the starting package and all other benefits that runners have.
What does the entry fee include?
The entry fee includes the following services and products:
- Running T-shirt
- Finisher medal
- Starting spot for the selected race
- Race bib with a timing chip
- Aid stations with food and drinks along the course
- Finish line aid station with food and drinks
- Hot meal at the finish line
- Professional timekeeping
- Support from emergency medical services and mountain rescue teams
- Toilets and showers
- Transportation for runners to the finish line in case of withdrawal
… and, of course, an unforgettable running experience on the trails 🙂
Please note: The only exception is the Friday vertical race, where the entry fee includes only the starting spot for the vertical, a finish line aid station with food and drinks (no hot meal), race bib with a timing chip, professional timekeeping, medical support, and toilets.
Group registrations
Group members may run different distances. The minimum number of participants per group is 5.
The group discount depends on the number of registered runners:
more than 5 runners: 10% discount
more than 10 runners: 15% discount
