How to get to Pašman?

The main venue of the Archipelago Trail Run and the race bib pick-up area are located in the village of Pašman on Pašman Island.

You can reach the island by ferry via two routes:

  • from Biograd na Moru to Tkon;
  • from the Gaženica ferry port in Zadar to Preko on Ugljan Island, from where you continue across the bridge to Pašman Island (the distance from Preko to the village of Pašman is approximately 45 km).
Option 1: via Biograd na Moru

Slovenia/Zagreb → A1 motorway → Biograd na Moru → ferry to Tkon → Pašman

Approximate travel time from Biograd to the village of Pašman:

Outside the main season, the ferry operating on this route has a smaller capacity, with a required minimum capacity of 35 vehicles. We therefore recommend arriving at the port well in advance, especially on Friday afternoon, when we expect the highest number of arrivals.

Option 2: via Zadar

Slovenia/Zagreb → A1 motorway → Zadar 2 exit → Zadar–Gaženica ferry port → ferry to Preko → across Ugljan Island and the Ždrelac Bridge to Pašman

Approximate travel time from Gaženica to the village of Pašman:

The ferry operating on this route is significantly larger and runs several times a day, making this connection generally more reliable when a higher number of arrivals is expected.

By plane

The closest and most convenient airport for travelling to Pašman is Zadar Airport – ZAD.

Approximate driving times from the airport:

At the airport, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use the airport bus, which also stops at the Gaženica ferry port on its way to Zadar. The timetable is adjusted according to flight schedules and published monthly.

All stated travel times are approximate and do not include waiting time at the port. Ferry timetables may change, so please check the latest departure times before starting your journey.

If you are travelling by car, make sure to arrive at the port well in advance. Purchasing a ticket online for these local routes does not guarantee a place on your selected departure.
