Choose 5km or 10km and experience Zagreb at its merriest
Europe’s merriest Advent run returns to the streets of Zagreb on Sunday, 6 December 2026. The 11th edition of Zagreb Advent Run will once again bring together thousands of runners, recreational athletes and everyone who loves a great atmosphere at the starting line by Zonar Zagreb.
There are many ways to experience Zagreb in December, but Zagreb Advent Run offers one of the most memorable – in running shoes, surrounded by festive atmosphere and the energy of participants looking to end the year with movement and a shared experience.
Participants can choose between the 5 km and 10 km races. The shorter distance is an excellent option for recreational runners, beginners and those who primarily want to enjoy the atmosphere. The 10K route is ideal for anyone looking to finish their running year with a greater challenge. Whichever distance you choose, the goal is to experience Zagreb at its merriest.
Zagreb Advent Run is about much more than the time on your watch. It is known for its positive energy, sense of togetherness, smiles along the course and creative festive running outfits. Experienced athletes, recreational runners, groups of friends, colleagues and everyone who wants to become part of Zagreb’s unique Advent running story are welcome at the start.
The race begins at 12:00, with both the start and finish located by Zonar Zagreb at Trg Krešimira Ćosića 9.
Registration for the 5K and 10K races is open. Secure your place at the starting line here ⬇️
